What is my Webhook URL?

NOTE: This is an advanced topic. Webhook trading is an optional, but very powerful way to automate trading with 3rd party tools like Tradingview

First, you MUST be logged in to your chart.observer account. If you do not have an account, you can register for a free trial here.

Once you are logged in, Navigate to the “Webhook URL” page shown below. You will need to copy both your Message body, as well as your unique URL which send trades to the chart.observer platform. DO NOT SHARE your webhook URL information, especially the URL. This is a violation of our Term of Service, and a security risk to your account. It is safe to use on the Tradingview website, in the manner we describe in our Automated Trading tutorial.

In the screen above you see your Message body with a user ID that is unique to you.

The second screen is a continuation of the Webhook URL page, and shows the URL you will enter into your charting software. Our Automated Trading tutorial covers how to do this at Tradingview, but other charting tools may have a different way to support this. You are free to try other platforms and reach out to us for help.
